William G. Nicoll, Ph.D. received his B.A. from the University of New Hampshire, M.A. from Boston University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. Bill brings over 40 years of professional experience as a university professor of counseling, international consultant and trainer, classroom and special education teacher, school counselor, and psychotherapist specializing in brief counseling & therapy with individuals and families.
Dr. Bill Nicoll is also an internationally renowned consultant and trainer. An expert in children, families and effective school and classroom practice he developed the resilience-focused brief counseling and therapy model and the Developing Resilient Youth program. He has provided consulting and training services for parents, teachers and mental health professionals throughout N. America, S. America, Africa, Asia and Europe. He is the author of numerous professional journal articles, book chapters and books. Bill is available to provide consulting and professional development training programs for your school, organization, or mental health agency on a variety of topics such as: brief, resilience-focused counseling/therapy, social-emotional learning, bully proofing schools, home-school collaboration, developing resilience in children & adolescents, and the characteristics of effective families, classrooms, and schools
