Tristram Hooley

 Professor of Career Education at the University of Derby. He also holds a Professorial role at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences and am a Visiting Professor at Canterbury Christ Church University. Director of the National Institute for Career Education and Counseling (NICEC), a Winston Churchill Fellow and a Fellow. Specialist adviser to the House of Commons Education Committee inquiry into career guidance.

Main research interests address the following topics: The role of career guidance in supporting the development of social justice, The intersection of policy and practice in career work, Identifying the impact of career development interventions, The role of online and digital technologies in career development.
He is currently Action Chair of the COST Project CA23112 - Critical perspectives on career and career guidance (COCAG)
